Unveiling Extensive Erasmus Plus KA1 Programs: Transformative Experiences Await

Phoenix Training Center, through the Erasmus Plus KA1 initiative, offers a transformative platform for over 100 educational courses, standing as the most generously funded segment in the Erasmus+ framework. This initiative yearly empowers a multitude of individuals with unparalleled international mobility chances. Educational, training, youth, or sports organizations are encouraged to seek Erasmus+ funding, embarking on enriching overseas journeys. We delve into the prime opportunities within school and vocational education and training (VET), highlighting how to fully leverage these experiences.

KA1: School Education Advancements

Faculty and staff from primary to higher education levels, including VET, adult education, and youth schools, can secure funds for mobility projects. These projects facilitate training and teaching advancements for both staff and learners. Explore our extensive range of over 300 teacher-focused courses set in Europe’s most picturesque cities.

Student Mobility Ventures

To offer students thrilling overseas experiences, choose from:
  • Group Mobility: Groups of at least two students, ranging from 2 to 30 days, can study at a host school or an EU institution. Accompanied by their teachers, this ensures a comprehensive learning experience.
  • Short-term Student Mobility: Opt for a 10 to 29-day study period or internship at a partner school or organization abroad.
  • Long-term Student Mobility: Engage in 30 to 365-day study or internship programs abroad, preceded by mandatory pre-departure training.
These physical mobility initiatives can be enriched with virtual components. Seeking a partner for student mobility or wish to become a host? Contact Phoenix Training Center for assistance.

Invited Expert – Empowering through Training

The Erasmus+ KA1 also encompasses the ‘Invited Expert’ mobility. Here, schools can invite overseas experts to enhance teaching and learning. These experts, defined as skilled trainers, educators, policy specialists, or professionals, significantly uplift teaching methodologies and organizational management.

Why an Expert?

Inclusion of an expert in your application, especially for short-term KA1 projects or accreditation, has been highly valued by the European Commission. It signals a commitment to embracing significant changes in the Erasmus+ Programme.

KA1: Vocational Education and Training – Study Visits

From 2021, VET providers can also partake in student and staff mobility, including teacher/trainer development courses and invited expert programs. We’re introducing a course focused on German vocational and training-based education, adaptable to participant feedback and needs.

Erasmus+ Accreditation & Short-term Applications

Access Erasmus KA1 through accreditation or short-term project applications.
  • Erasmus+ Accreditation: Apply for continuous grant access from 2021-2027. Accredited schools or consortia must adhere to Erasmus quality standards and present a six-year European Development Plan. Accreditation ensures easier mobility fund access, aligning with your school’s development plan.
  • Short-term Project Applications: Missed accreditation? There’s still a chance to participate through short-term projects, joining an accredited consortium, or hosting foreign students.
Schools from Erasmus+ Programme Countries can apply for mobility projects through their National Agency.
